  1. In one minute, amazingly enough, you took me on a tour of the textures of this fantastic, but much too often taken-for-granted edifice. I saw the sweep of the building from both a micro and a macro perspective, and in this way my eye was encouraged to think in a new way about a place that is often considered more for its use value than for its aesthetic value. Your photography of Grand Central Station is sumptuous; your sense of its rhythms, both human and mechanical, evokes a sense of awe.
